Refund policy


Cancellation of oRders

All orders are baked from fresh for each order with Wildcraft Bakery. As such, the 14-Day Cooling Off period granted to consumers by Distance-Selling Regulations does not apply to any order with us. However, the happiness of our customers is very important to us. So if you place an order in error or your circumstances have changed, please let us know as soon as possible. Provided that no work has begun on your order and it hasn't been dispatched to you, it may be possible for us to cancel your order. The cancellation of any eligible order is subject to an admin fee of 20% of the value of the transaction including and the balance will be transferred back to you by the means with which it was paid for. Should you wish to convert the order into a gift voucher, then this admin fee will be waived as a gesture of Goodwill. Any voucher so issued must be spent in a single transaction but the voucher will be valid for a period of 2 months from the date of issue and can be spent at any time that is more convenient to you!


REFUNDS ON FOOD ITEMS

We work hard to make our food as consistently good as possible, but occasionally issues do occur with quality. If you have bought a product and are not happy with it, you can contact us at info@wildcraftbakery.com and we will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Everything is baked fresh to order. Our products do not contain preservatives so we suggest food is kept in a cool place and eaten within 48 hours or frozen. We cannot be held responsible for product deterioration as we cannot determine the storage conditions.

FOOD SAFETY & Allergens

We are a 100% gluten free and an allergy conscious bakery, and strive to produce food suitable for all allergies and intolerances. While we take all precautions against cross contamination, we do handle the following allergens in the bakery and our food may contain traces of:

  • Tree nuts (not peanuts)
  • Sesame
  • Soya
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Mustard
  • Sulphur dioxide

DELAYS TO DELIVERIES

During the checkout process, our customers are given a selection of dates to choose for their deliveries. We have multiple systems in place that mean that in 99% of cases, everything goes without a hitch and the order arrives with no problems. However, no matter how many redundancies are built into a system, in rare occasions things may still go wrong and the dispatch of the order is delayed. Should this happen, we will keep our customers updated to the very best of our abilities and guarantee that the order will arrive within 14 working days of the scheduled delivery date. Should customers wish to cancel an order that is delayed by us for longer than 2 days (provided that no work has begun on the order and it has not yet been dispatched), then no admin fee will be payable. Customers who wish to keep the orders as they stand will be sent a discount code for 10% off any future order placed at Wildcraft Bakery for the following 3 months.

On occasions delivery delays may occur due to reasons outside our control, such as adverse weather conditions that affect our courier. We will do everything we can to ensure you still receive your parcel, including paying extra for faster delivery where appropriate. If your parcel is unreasonably late (3 or more working days from dispatch), we will refund up to 50% of your order via an evoucher that can be redeemed against any order placed in the following 3 months.


DAMAGES AND ISSUES with orders after delivery

Please inspect your order upon reception and let us know immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and respond appropriately. Please email us at info@wildcraftbakery.com and include a full description and photos of any issues you might have.

We will notify you once we’ve received and investigated your return request, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process this.
